2000 Ė 2006 - Joint Nominating Committee for the Election of the Presiding Bishop

2003 - 2009 -  Executive Council (the top-level Board of Directors) of The Episcopal Church.Lead advocate for the establishment of a TEC Strategic Planning Committee, which passed Executive Council, and was extended by the 2009 General Convention.Strong advocate for congregational development/redevelopment, especially church planting.

2003 - Deputy from Connecticut to General Convention (elected 2001).

2002 - 2003  - Member, Finance Committee of 2020 Strategy Group, the successor to the 2020 Task Force.

2000 - 2001 - Secretary, TECís 2020 Task Force, which generated the initial strategic plan for doubling the size of ECUSA by 2020.

1997-2003 - Member, Standing Commission on Domestic Mission and Evangelism, the group which proposed the 2020 Vision which included doubling the size of ECUSA by 2020, a goal adopted by the 2000 General Convention.

2000 - Transferred letter of membership to St. James Episcopal Church, Glastonbury, CT, from Grace Episcopal Church, Newington, CT when wife became Interim Rector of St. James.  Lector, Chalice Bearer.

2000 - Deputy from Connecticut to General Convention (elected 1998)

1999 - 2000 Member, Organizing/Steering Group of ECUSA's New Commandment Task Force, building bridges among ECUSA leaders who disagreed on sexuality issues.

1999 - Transferred letter of membership to Grace Episcopal Church, Newington, CT when wife became Ass't Priest there.  At Grace Church: Lector; member, Finance Committee and member, Stewardship Committee.

1994, 97 - Deputy from Connecticut to General Convention; member of the Convention's Stewardship and Development Committee

1937 - born,  in Meridian, Mississippi, to The Rev. Albert T. Mollegen and Mrs. (Harriette) Ione Rush Mollegen. Delivered by my uncle, Dr. Gus A. Rush, Jr.  My parents both were natives of Meridian, but since 1935 were residents of Alexandria, VA, where my Dad taught at Virginia Theological Seminary until he retired in 1974.

1993-2013 - Co-founder, President, Allied Resources Corporation, East Hartford, CT.  Allied provided engineering and factory safety services principally to large private sector corporations.  

1993-96 Chairman, Board Member, of Technology for Connecticut, Inc., an economic development non-profit.

1976-1992 - As CEO, led Analysis & Technology, Inc., in growth from 56 to over 1500 employees and over $100 million in revenue. Took the firm public, and in 1990 began diversification from exclusive focus on the Navy as the customer.  When I departed, the firm provided engineering and training services to military and non-military U.S. government agencies and Fortune 500 corporations.
